Finterim was founded in 2019 by Kyri Pittalis. Having spent a number of years working across corporate finance, audit and finance team roles, Kyri saw the huge impact that an interim professional could have on both the finance team and the wider business. Finterim was born out of a belief that the workload of a typical finance function is anything but steady and even, with audits, month-end processes and M&A becoming so critical.
This led Kyri to take on interim roles from FC all the way up to CFO and realise how effective a high quality finance professional could be. He saw a professional services market that provided financial reporting assistance, advisory services and financial consulting at exorbitant prices that offered no real value for money for clients. A significant amount of this work could be undertaken by the right interim finance professional at a fraction of the cost, with the added benefit of that individual becoming a real part of any finance team.
The business began life as Finance on Demand before a re-brand to Finterim in early 2022. This occurred alongside a concerted push to grow its in-house team of finance professionals and recruiters. Finterim has doubled its revenues in each year since inception and should be well-placed to continue growing as interim finance professionals become more commonplace.
